I'm also in the Nagykanizsa area but have not lived here long so can't offer any suggestions but would like to welcome you to the forum.

Hi Angelofthenorth and welcome to the forum. I'm the concierge for the Hungarian section so if you have any questions or problems, feel free to contact me.
Whereabouts in Nagykanisza area are you? We live close to town also. Hubby knows where the wood yard in Kanisza is, I'll ask when he comes in but I do know decking is quite expensive here. There is a garden centre down beside the railway station though it isn't very large. Obi's is the next best. We tend to go to the garden centre in Keszthely as it has a larger selection though you can also order online.

Hope this helps.
