How do you manage that terrible heat?
Even the lakes don't cool you down, some have more than 30 Celsius.
And the weather forecast looks "hot and not much rain" for all of August.
We go out to work in the garden and/or shopping from 6 am to 8 am and then back into the house.o

However, the temps right now are not so abnormal - what is different is that its been hot since the beginning of June - something the Greeks have been reporting recently!
A bit relentless.
And don't forget Wolfi when the temps drop sharply in December (which they will) - oh, how us Brits will moan!

I've got used to it and have kept working outdoors throughout the summer, but at a slightly slower pace. I've got too much to do to stop.
I woke up to the sound of rain drops this morning but it was next to nothing and only lasted about 5 minutes.

I've been doing a roof this week, re tiling with a friend, we start at 6 and finish early afternoon when the sun hits the roof. We get through gallons of water a day. It's job done now so tomorrow is a rest day in the shade

I've really struggled this year to cope with the hot weather. Mid-July our 8th home improvement project this year was finally completed. That was our new kitchen. When the builders, plumbers, electrician, kitchen fitter were here we were restricted to the lounge. Dog walks were limited to 15 minutes before 8am.
