Its bad enough with 6 months visa and 2 months out, I want to go from Sri Lanka to Nepal but to go via Delhi I cannot get back into India for 2 months, so I am looking at going via Singapore unless anyone knows another way or direct route from Colombo to Kathmandu

From a lot of posts on this subject, on IndiaMike, it appears that if you can time your flights so as to not leave "transit" at Delhi (and ideally book your luggage right through), then you have not actually entered India and are therefore not subject to the farcical 2 month rule.

I did the above back in May when going from Malaysia back to the UK. I was in transit for 2 hours in Mumbai ! My visa was still valid for 24 hrs in case of probs tho!
