Again it must be the reciprocity thing, far easier process for Indian visitors to USA to get their visas. Taken by special bus to the consulate and given free snacks!!! and a 10 year visa.
If they want to stop off in UK on the way, for a couple of weeks, quite another story to get the UK visa.

Thank you for yet another fatuous reply to a question that was not asked

If ever come,
Highly unlikely, but if you do, forget your snotty little trite responses, they do not work when you are actually in India :thumbdown:

Yep -- it's a reciprocity thing.

However, no free snacks at the US embassy in London for either visa applicants or even American citizens.

And good morning to you! I assume Americans who want to visit Goa aren't particularly welcome on this board?

The cost was much higher than previously I think approx 80 pounds, another reason why the British tourists will steer clear. My husband was told this only applies to the Brits....... Even though we showed them our papers to the house, this is all we could get.

Thanks for the info. Anything to do with visas immediately seems to cause a panic attack:eek::eek: Is it really worth it, I keep asking myself?

Cheers Iain

Sorry, I applied for a 6 month multi entry. My husband and I were both only given a one month single entry. I live in Doha so maybe this is why, but due to commitments and Hearings etc..... I may need to travel backwards and forwards so this will end up costly.

Maybe cheaper to fly to bangkok where you should be able to pick up a 6 month multiple entry T visa!!! Or Sri Lanka????? just a thought!
