Arriving back in Goa in 3 weeks - not sure if my IDEA Sim which I used last season for wifi will still be OK, even though I recharged it for 12 month before I left in March.

Any tips? I shall be in Candolim, not far from Fortune Hotel.

Also is it possible to buy new PAYG sims on arrival at Mumbai Airport?

'Let us know if your sim worked - in theory it won't if you got it on a Tourist visa; and it will otherwise so long as there was Rs.20 a month to deduct from the balance.
Same applies to new ones.
For WiFi try the newish Jio sims, you can get a bundle with unlimited calls sms and data* for different periods.
*fair use limit usually 1 - 2 Gb per day, which is pretty good.
