Appreciate some hold Monteiro in high regard, but before you and others castigate those people who speak of him with less esteem , please do bear in mind that they also speak from their personal experiences of him and his services. For me he caused an absolute nightmare, as he did for two seperate close friends of mine - one of whom became critically ill as a direct result. I personally witnessed this and it was horrifying to see.

Dread - as you like it x
Hi Dread,

I wasn't castigating anyone who doesn't have a positive opinion of Augustus, merely saying what I have seen which is 'others calling him fit to burn' - now I have no knowledge of the chain of events that led to some of his clients feeling that way about the service he has or hasn't provided - as we all know with Goa, you pays your money & takes your chance - with varying degrees of success or lack of it!

Yes, we had an extra two weeks holiday which has really spoiled us, when we'll only be able to go for a couple of weeks at a time in future!

Best Regards

H.

Hey Hem

Best you start building up your time off in lieu bank to get those extra couple of weeks next time - you know you will want it!!

Personally depsite my disgust with Monteiro, I may occasionally want to rip his head off, but don't want to 'burn' anyone - the stink is awful !!!
(Mind you if I did I'd have to join a queue)

Take it easy

Dread - talking hot

Oh yes, a seriously cunning plan is required for extra time off later in the year - just got yo think of it!

As for 'burning anyone' - the words of Keith Lard (Peter Kay character from Phoenix Nights) spring to mind: "have you ever smelt burning flesh son" & "fire doesn't knock yer know"

I sympathise with anyone who may have had problems with A.M. - I've tried to think why some have & some haven't - just the luck of the draw, I don't know & couldn't speculate without knowing the facts of individual cases, which obviously I don't

Regards

H.

Hem, thought I should say I have never had any problems with Shri Monteiro.

Neither of I, J5, Milwart, my dear Hem. - Have encountered Shir Monterio, but have heard both sides of stories about him.

J5,

There you are, see innit - someone else other than me, a_f_d & Powerhouse who hasn't had a problem with Augustus - just forget all that nonsense about having never encountered him, that's irrelevant & doesn't matter - what matters is, you've never had any problems with him innit. . . . . . . .

Thursday night - Grolsch night. . . . . .

Can't imagine why you would have anything other than a great time with J5!

Best log off then & quit whilst you are ahead!

You will need to bollock yourself & others tomorrow for the off topic posts & the blatant disregard for the gossip & chitchat thread!

Off to bed now, work tomorrow innit! respec! (intentionally no 't' innit before you go correcting me in red innit - thought you was previously in 'real estate' innit, not no teacher marking homework - hey teacher, leave those kids alone, innit. . . . . . .
