Suggest you start a new thread as you are not likely to get much of a response tacked on the end of a "property developer" thread!!!!

alvinR Unless you have an employment visa to work as a teacher in india i'd be very careful who you approach. do not advertise the fact that you want work or you are working, in private schools the wages are pretty bad average pay for a teacher is rps4.000 a month.

I think Rs.4000.00 per month was like 10yrs back. Btw some people don't mind the salary they work cos they like to....

Milward you certintely dont live in the real world do you, :curse:I know at least 4 goan teachers and their salary is the pits and know for a fact that the ESG only pays their FN teachers rps8.000 per month with years of experience even though they charge students rps 9.000 + per month fees and its suppose to be a charity related school that should support goan children and their education. A policeman is very lucky to take home rps8.000 a month for gods sake get off your soap box and see the real Goa.

Basic pay + grade pay + DA (16%) + HRA (30%) + Conv + proffessional allowance = SALARY
Incentives: All government holidays + sick days + xyz leaves if you calculate all this the teacher work for 172 days of the year and get paid for 365 days of the year.
They must have told you about the basic pay they receive. And now with the 6th pay commission the salary is hiked by 70%

I think you need to once again ask them about the Pay they receive and not the money they receive in hand. Ask them about
