Can anyone tell me how long lunch takes in Goa. We've been trying to contact our builders but they always seem to be at lunch. I called at 11.30 this morning (Goa time). The charming receptionist informed me the Director was at lunch. So I called at 12.30 - he was still at lunch .... again at 1.30 ....'no ma'am, he's still at lunch' ..... at 2.30 the same thing !!! I have now sent a stroppy fax :curse::curse::curse:

Normally lunch hours are 1 PM to about 4 PM.

Maybe the builder does not want to talk to you. Have you gave any money.

yes we've paid 50%. The builder is reputable, we've had him checked out and we comply with all the requirements to purchase property out there but they are so difficult to get hold of !

Best time to meet builders is 8:00 am or after 5:00 pm.

I got hold of them at 5.30 p.m on Saturday ????!??
