Has anybody stayed at Yorkshireman re: Halcyon Guest House, Candolim, or any other Guest Houses in that area they would recommend, must be clean and not absolutely silly money. Looking for a months stay from January to February 2014. Large room plus balcony a must, A/C would be great.

There are many options available in Candolim, go for reputed one's, as they are clean and good location, bit pricey but worth it, else you can opt for self contained accommodation, but no room service.
