Default Kid friendly restaurants

Having a couple of young children limits the kind of restaurants you attempt to eat at, Does anyone have any suggestions for a good child friendly restaurant to get:

-Western food, pasta, pizza, fish- with no spices
-Opens at 6 pm
-quick service & clean western toilets
-a pool we can have a dip before dinner- would be a bonus.

Ok Sherin - we have all answered your questions and I know that you do not follow up what we all say to you. You are a time waster for lots of people here who want to help people who come to live in Goa but you come here onto this forum - ask questions - and do nothing.
I spent lots of time on your last question re massage etc and also spent more time finding information for you which you thought was wonderful when I pm'd you but you did nothing about.
Why do you do this - we are here to help people not waste time with people like you.

This site is certinly not friendly never mind the restaurants!!!
As Sherin is new to Goa she is asking questions relevent to her situation as a newcomer, you took the time to answer the post with nasty attitudes, why bother at all.
My suggestion to Sherin is move your questions to www.holidaytruths.com you may get a better response to them.
And after your stay in Goa prehaps you can as they say "contribute more instead of wasting their time by asking questions"
Sometimes I cringe at people on this forum!!

i think that most people on this forum are very helpful, when i decided to come out here i asked a couple of questions but more importantly i read through old threads to see if any of my inquiries could be answered before starting a new thread.

this person so far has asked ...
kid friendly resteraunts
where to buy a cot
where to buy a buggy
where to buy a washing up bowl
where to get the cheapest tea spoons
which supermarket for the cheapest loo roll
tetley or taj tea bags
best speed boat
milk..best skimmed or semi
best place to stay

the list is endless, why not ask all your questions in one thread?

YAWN YAWN YAWN if the questions Sherin asks bother you that much why do even bother reading them let alone give sarcastic answers in return. nothing in the rule book to say she cant so get off her case and get a life, because by the sound of it shes enjoying herself.
And by the way Sherin the Capricorn restaurant in Calangute is very kid friendly, does pasta and veg no spices, you could always try going through the posts and see where these guys frequent im sure they'd love you to visit with the kids to their favourite restaurants.

poppetjay - I know from previous posts that you have met her and her family - so why can she not phone you and ask you the questions she asks on here. We are not unfriendly but her constant questions are sometimes so wearing - we answer her and she does not respond - go and take your kids to any Goan restaurant and they will make a fuss of them at all times - they are all kid friendly - will give them chips and stuff - nobody in Goa will turn a family away.
But no - a quick dip in the pool is not an option for the kind of night out you want

I really want to laugh at what you want - the Golden Arches chain do not have pools within their restaurants but there is not one in Goa -
"The Chippie" in Calangute does the kind of food you want - and it is very good but sadly it does not have a dipping pool before you get your fast food. Try the Marriot on "special order"

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our readers - hope we all keep safe.

You are quite right thatman all restaurants Goa are kid friendly but unfortunatley not all the customers that frequent them are, sometimes if a kid laughs, gets out of their chair even has a dance there can be heard comments made by miserable old sods who just dont want them near them. I have ofetn been in these situations with my grandkids and it really bugs me and they are really well behaved when out.
As for the swimming pools there are plenty of restaurants attached to hotels with pools, so in gods name whats wrong with asking what restaurants allow you to go in and have lunch and a swim, and dont tell me there are loads as i and my girl friends have been all over the place trying to find a place where we could have lunch and a dip.
If they went to the Marriot it would be the same thing the comments from people who are just not child freindly they think they have exclusive rights to all the good restaurants.

Have a great christmas and i just hope your not one of the miserable sods that object to kids being in the same place as you, god forbid because you were a kid once too.
