I am just about to book flights and have found one with Jet that flys out to Goa via Mumbai but returns from goa via Bangalor then Mumbai & at last Heathrow. Has anyone been to Bangalor airport as I was wondering if there are any facilities there, we have a choice of a 3 or 4 hour stopover.

We flew from Bangkok to Bangalore last October, but since then the new airport has opened.
It should therefore be pretty good, and up date.
The main criticism in the press was that the road from the City to the airport had not been upgraded and was not good enough.

Thanks for that, hopefully it won't be too bad, I find Mumbai somewhat lacking in things to do so It will break the journey up at bit.
Are you in Goa yet, I was wondering what the weather was like? We will be arriving on 15th Oct last year it was still quiet wet.

Powerhouse,
Suggest you go to the following link on Tripadvisor website as this guy gives a daily update of weather in Goa. He has been back there now for about a week.

I will pack my umbrella. Looks like Callangute Beach is a bit of a mess, we are at the far end of Candolim, not far from the River Princess so we don;t very often venture onto the sand.
