Default Hi!...Advice needed please.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a little advice,i've been thinking of visiting Goa for a couple of months holiday, could anyone tell me if i'd be okay finding a place stay on arrival? also what is the cheapest type of ok accomodation available and cost...ideally i'm looking for somewhere isolated, though not too far of the beaten track.

Thanks,
Airan.

It's very easy to find accomodation on arrival.A taxi driver will surely take you somewhere.
Low budget rooms can be had from Rs.300/400 per night, maybe even cheaper, depends on your standards.
Find somewhere for a few nights and then look around for your ideal location.

Happy Hunting

No probs with finding accomodation on arrival in the north around Calangute and Candolim or further south around Benaulim and Colva which is quieter.

You can also find reasonably priced flats and houses on some web sites. We use Viva Street for our place as its free . So you could book in advance and save some hassle after the long flight.

Just got back from Goa. The weather is beginning to get hot during the day. Early mornings (before 8.30) and evenings post 5.30 are cool. Most of March would be like that.

You're right there! A taxi driver[I ]will[/I] take you somewhere. I suggest you go to your chosen area and have a walk around. There is accommodation free everywhere.
