Food at the Marriott has improved. Busy there with the IFF people.
Testing Ah! Goa on Sunday.

Still testing! Peoples opinions differ and resturants are only as good as its chefs - that season.

Jamies on the Baga Road just outside Baga.Bit meaty the menu but the Bass makes up for it. Worth a visit though.Britos looks more like a bazaar now than a restaurant and the food is definitely motorway cafe standard.Drive in and drive away quick !

Ahh! Goa - was excellent for the sunday buffet. Will definately be going there again when our visitors arrive. Food better than last year, boat trip, music, "bingo! and drink as much as you like. Great for us, but some people will only drink branded names for Vodka, Bacardi etc.- so they loose out.

Na! Andy - Romanov or the other local 'noffi. We are not posh like some people who have to have "the brand name"

Tina 1 - I have no idea what you are on about!! don't you drink local
brands?

Good meals at Rising Waves and Sea Shell over the last few days.
Going to try the Sportsman tomorrow for their 99 rup breakfast which is supposed to be fantastic. Will report back.
Brekkie there finishes at 10.30 - hope my guests will be able to get there in time!

Rovers Return Shack's Hog Roast is till top of the list. Bloody Brilliant.

Breakfast at the Sportsman Bar Candolim was excellent.
99 rups. English sausage, bacon, toms, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms blackpudding 2 slices of toast, butter, jam and either a mug of tea or coffee.

This bar used to be packed in the nights - now extremely quiet, but at least they are going against the Goan trend of putting up prices- and doing something to make a living
Good on them!
