Hi poopetjay. We lived there for over 3 years. Just left after a couple of months "Hoilday" I agree with all you say. No one seems happy there anymore. Grumpy staff in Shacks, don't smile any more, and yes greedy landlords. Average rent for a 2 bed place (not fully furnished or very clean either) 20/30000 Rupes. We did think of getting a legal business visa and going back. But i wish them all good luck with there new found Russian and Rich Indian friends. It's a big world after all eh. Bill.
