It depends on what you are looking for the north is a bit like costa del Sol but nice the south is quieter the beachs are gorgeous we have bought in the south We bought through Keith Morling he made the whole process easy really he has some 3-4 beds on his web site at the moment http://www.goawayhomes.co.uk It may pay you to visit first to check out where in Goa you prefere |

My wife and I have been considering moving to Goa for a while now, but never given it much of a chance as we were a bit aprehensive about starting a business. I noticed you have done just that,and wondered if you have any hints and tips, and if there are any pitfalls you should look out for. Also, is it true that you can apply for a 2 year visa if you start a business? Any info much appreciated. Had enough of the rat race!! Thanks. |

Re completion dates - I gather that Micon are clawing back some of the delay but it will depend on the monsoons. The latest I have (may) is that internal walls are up and stairways cast, but Micon are excellent builders but dreadful at replying to emails. Looking forward to hearing from you. |

Not more than 30 days ago, I went to Dubai and bought myself a Studio there, that I had decided upon just from Internet research and emailing some agents online. Since I did some real thorough research (Internet services being my primary business) I got a good deal for the Studio compared to what most quoted.... However, on reaching Dubai for the actual transfer, I did notice a couple of cheaper deals on even higher floors. Sheesh, I felt so let down by myself, but recovered quick enough, because there's not too much time to regret now : ) Note though, that even "in" Dubai all the ads. etc.. had rates higher that what I paid for. It's just that there were these 2 offers that were priced lower. Lesson learnt is, that if you're 'too' worried on how much you are paying, then either take a trip yourself to Goa once you have shortlisted some property/properties OR inquire in the local market if you can get some better deals...
