Still I can't wait to go back to the Mossies, frogs, snakes, and the D of E and the police etc.

She is right about the mossies coming under the doors - it must be your blood group that they do not like.

When are you going to Goa?

Hi Remy,

The place i stayed wasn't a hotel but a private property, so luckily you should never have the misfortune of staying there!

Hi Remy,

Come to think of it i really should've sub-let my room to Spielberg as a film set for a follow up to the Temple of Doom!!
When i was in Bodhgaya in peak pilgrimage season some years back i found one very effective way to part the crowds (when in a hurry), was to wear my black cowboy style hat, dark glasses and a dark shawl, so i looked a little bit sinister and it worked a treat (haven't used a whip though since i stopped horse riding in my teens).
regards

Her and Michael are a lovely couple - the press leave them alone when they come home and only print photos of her and her family when they have left.
Michael is excellent with going out with the boys - both are very generous although people do not know what they do for our community.

OH Dear Working to-day Watched the Rugby had a few 'noffi's and then sat on the Club roof, enjoying the sun, and watched an air display across the bay - the Red Arrows were spectacular (or was it the 'noffi)

We have been having a fab week, got so much done! We are really at home, even hired a bike. Good luck with everything and hope you get over the sore tum.

ps Noni, can't you get draught excluder here? I have just had an email from friend who has asked for her door measurements, so that she can bring out the same!

Regards
I took draft excluder out from the UK. It was to stop the mossies getting under the door but as I have not had it fitted yet I do not know if it will work. I plan to get it fitted when I arrive back in October. I am booked with Jet Airways because of the newish planes and the excellent service I have received on previous flights.

Back to Goa has turned into a draught excluder discussion funnily enough it is the first thing we bought when we got back in May so that we would remember to take it back with us. We have one of those industrial light machines but when the flying ants are about we get them coming under the door and sick of looking at rolled up newspapers. (Last season took the sticky backed foam excluder for the doors).
Noni - you may be pleasantly suprised by BA - we travelled with them last year and they were excellent - good food - as much as you wanted to drink and the steward gave me a couple of miniature vodkas with the tops intact to take off the plane with me. Have you booked a special meal - we always do as you get served first and it always seems better than the run of the mill meal. I chose seafood menu and had salmon and prawns.
I have a friend who is related to KZJ and always says nice things about them and not because they are related.

I thought this was a new thread, started reading through,September ,yes Ok.
Then I realised apart from the last 2 posts I was back in September 2007 !
Never mind in just over 3 weeks I'll be able to add to it.

PS My new item for this season (apart from six cushions c/w covers and a very heavy leather rug) is a plastic device in a semi-circle shape that you screw to the wall to wrap your hosepipe round. It has a drawer in the middle for your trowel, secateurs etc. saves bending and works a treat for 150 bht.
( Rs.200) .

Make sure you measure your door, our draught excluder was 1" short.
or the Goan door was too big - but it did make a big difference to the Mossies.
