Does anyone know of a good Opthalmologist in Goa? Our son has been seeing one in Delhi but we don't really know where to start looking in Goa. We would be grateful for any suggestions.
Many thanks

In North Goa I can highly recommend Dr Gina D`Souza in Mapusa above Union pharmacy!.My mother thought she needed new specs but this lady discovered that she had had a bleed behind the eye.

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes, plus retina repair laser surgery. I have had excellent results by my surgeon, Dr P N Parulekar, 0832 2250022. He works from Vrundavan Hospital in Mapusa and I would say he is a very experienced opthalmologist and would certainly not hesitate to recommend him.
Good luck

Three weeks after operating on my eyes, this dick told me ' Surgery 100%, but you have cancer in one eye" Four years later, two minutes by laser, problem solved. I wouldn`t let this b****** touch my dogs. Good luck.

WARNING
Anyone having any procedures done at the Vrundavan Mapusa, take your own syringes. Earlier in the season three people died from Hepatitus B caused by contaminated needle procedures at this hospital
Dread - you have been warned

Wife was excited when she read Kinara's thread as she has eye problems
and cataracts. The next thread was posted now she thinks she will stay with the NHS.
