Default Charter flights into Goa

You are all probably fed up, with me harping on about my 5 year visa.
So i have another problem, please help.
My 21 year old daughter wants to come and visit me, in january, for 2 weeks.
I had a quick look on the net, £500, surely this is too much??.
I know nuffin, about charter flights as ive always come through Mumbai.
Thx

Hi SteveBenaulim,

Its a bit of a waiting game and search unforunately,if your daughters dates and airports in Jan are flexible she will stand a better chance of a deal.
Try Goldenticket travel in Plymouth 0800 731 2344,the boss Victor goes to the Leela ( posh!) we have used them several times and they DON'T charge for credit cards (mention this site)
Olympic holidays flight only is worth tracking as you can easily play around with dates etc.
Travel republic is another one, lastly Jewel in the Crown is worth a try, the boss there, Platon Loziou started package hols to Goa some 20 years ago.
(He also steadfastly refuses to advise people on buying in Goa)

Good luck

K-C

No, £500 is probably about correct given the on going cost of fuel - You might get something for a bit less in January but not significantly less, £450 maybe if you are lucky, from looking, the Gatwick charters tend to be slightly less expensive than the Manchester ones. Choice is between Monarch, Thomas Cook (now incorporates My Travel) & First Choice - although First Choice tend to sell their flights as holidays first, then only offering flights if the holidays have sold & their hotels are full.

I have booked friend through Take Flight Travel in the past. They are on the net but you have to phone for prices. I have always managed to get them for less than £400. http://www.takeflight.co.uk/goa_flights-2.htm They are currently advertising more on their site but if you ring there may be something cheaper.
