Re: canada wants us!!!!!!!!!!say goodbye goa
Lots of Goans in Canada, that's true. Most of them are the same people FNs have "purchased" property in Goa itself from!!!!. Wonder why they left Goa so quietly? The rest own restaurants, hotels and shacks that FNs rave about so, until watches and cameras disappear. Suffering 6 months of minus temperatures in Canada is some form of penance perhaps? Mind you, there are a number of Goans in Toronto who have been cheated out of property too and have completely given up on Goa decades ago.
Lots of retired Brits in Canada, most of whom are extremely happy with their move. Good healthcare, safe, quiet society, almost boring except for the 6 months spent in Florida to escape the winters. All may change though if fuel prices continue upwards because Canada is wholly dependant on the ability of people to move about in its vastness cheaply. It has nothing like the transportation structures of the UK and relies on individuals owning cars to get about.
