Buying in Goa
Hi,
I just wondered if there is anyone out there currently buying or has bought on Danika Residency, Colva. A group of us are getting a good neighbours group together, to co-ordinate up to date info and to give each other feedback on progress when we are visiting Goa. Please send me a private message with your contact details. |

I will be looking at a flat there for a friend next week. If there is anything I can look at for you while I am there, just let me know. I am leaving here today, so if you send me your email address via a private message on this website I will be in touch. Best wishes Pat |

Best wishes Pat I have sent you a private message from this website with my email address on it. How does Micon Plaza look? The builder does not send any photos despite numerous requests. I have now received my letter to take possession and am planning to go to Goa 1st week in December. Will be nice to get in touch if you are still there at the time. Regards Jas |

Hi Jaswant,
Sorry did not receive the pm with your address, but thought you all might like to know that I was able to photograph inside one of the flats this week. The finish is good and the first coat of paint has been applied outside; and the contractor has said he will be finished in a week. Am seeing Mr Gomes of Micon on Wednesday?Thursdaqy of this week if anyone wants anything. pat |

Re: Buying in Goa
Hi Roy and Pat
I've just found this site and saw that you are also in Danika Residency. My name's Amar and My wife is Kelly, we have also bought a row house in Danika Residency. we are both PIO's having lived in England for over 40 years, kids grown up and married. We are now looking to retire there (fell in love with Goa on my hols), just been to see our house it's next door to yours no 3. We really are going to be neighbours and look forward to gettiing to know you and all other Brits who are going to be living there. I was also told that the properties will be ready by end June07 to beginning July 07 and the swimming pool and landscaping by Nov07. Phase one looks great, the build is very good. So keep our fingers crossed that all the Phase 2 will be ok and ready for our autumn/winter holiday. I am applying for dual citizenship so as to make the process of buying in Goa easier. Look forward to seeing you all, and have a jolly old knees up. PS: How do I email you privately? |

I am buying on Keegan Palms which is on the Benaulim Road, it seems there is a lot being built on that road! Have you had your property registered now? Are you buying via a company or are you doing the 183 days?? Sally |

Hi Amar We are buying in Goa as NRIs. We intend to retire there and also hope to get the dual nationality. Please let me know how your application goes and what problems I need to look out for.:D |
Re: Buying in Goa
Hi Bandarjoti
Yes as soon as I know what problems are created by HCI, about the dual nationality I will let you know. At the moment I have just put my application in in January 07. One problem I did incur was that all the copy documents must be self attested by the person making the application. As in my case I got my mum to attest hers as I thought it was her passport copies so she should certify them to be true copies, but they were sent back for me to attest them and the extra cost of sending them back again. Hopefully this will be the one and only problem, fingers crossed. Cheers Amar |

I look forward to hearing about your experiences with the application. Cheers Bandarjoti |
