Air India

Another big NO NO for Gulf Air. We flew to Goa with them a few years ago and thought we had cracked it when we were ugraded.
Forgot which Middle Eastern Country we stayed in but I should as we were there for almost 2 days
They had not paid the landing fees and Mumbai so they were not allowed to land any more planes until the bill was paid. They shunted us from hotel to airport then out of hotel at midnight so they did not have to pay for overnight accommodation and so it went on for 2 days. When we got Mumbai there was no onward plane so after much foot stamping they put us up in some grotty hotel until they could put us on a flight.
Coming back they moved our flight but still took us up on early flight from Goa and we had to wait about 16 hours in Mumbai airport

I think I will stick to Thomas Cook, they are bad enough but the longest wait I have ever had with them was last November when we were held up in Goa for six hours fortunately we called them just before we were due to get the taxi to the airport and they told us it was delayed and call back in a couple of hours. So we were not hanging around Dabolim
