Hi, this is a bit subjective!
Since no one on the spot seems to be responding, my daughter had to pass a German language test when applying to do a Degree in a German Uni. I'll ask her whether she did TestDaf and/or DSH and how difficult she found it. But she had already done an Erasmus year in Germany with Bac-Level German, and her experience might not be comparable to yours....

DD2 has replied already! She had to pass the TestDaf and says level C1 minimum is necessary in order to be accepted into a German Uni.
Therefore, it will IMO be tough for you unless you take classes to improve your level....
