Right or Wrong
It looks as if a decision will be made shortly as to whether the Germans can get some of your military pension towards your medical treatment. Do you think they should be able to raid our military pension?

If so, then in the US, your monthly premium payment for your Medicare health system (the one for seniors) is based on your total income - employment, pensions, nonemployment income etc - so not surprising that the German government will base your premiums on your income (including your pension).

Is this someone getting a pension from outside Germany who is now required to pay for the "Krankenkasse" while resident in germany ?
