Just moved to Berlin from Glasgow ... spent 18 years in Mid East presently living near Alexanderplatz.... on my jack so looking for things to do ... hoops fans or not... dont want to be easy jetting every weekend... so any help, clubs, beers etc much appreciated.

Hi! I spent some time in Berlin last year and was staying right near to Alexanderplatz. There are some amazing things to do when you first arrive! If you're feeling flambuoyant you could try The Sage restaurant which has the best food I've ever tried, and theres some excellent bars down in Kreuzberg and Oraanjeboom. Good for a party feel.
