Has anybody completed the German Naturalization Course?
This seems to comprise 2 components:
1. Language to B1 level (lion's share of the time)
2. History/law/culture (small part)
Has anybody completed this course? I am interested in its duration, length of typical day and how stressful (or fun) it is.

Your Land or Stadt will have an "Auslaendergehoerde" which produces pages like this
https://www.duesseldorf.de/auslaenderamt.html
Big Brother and Google are your friends.

Thank you Scot and Assanah. I need to decide whether it's worth doing the course. I have to resign my job for it (which I would have to do anyway if I have to leave the country for Brexit) and I need to work out the cost. I will no longer have income, so I'll have to self-finance throughout. This will be expensive and will only be possible if the state gives subsides for it. (Not on the cost of the course, because that's peanuts compared to 6 months living expenses, rent included.)
@Scot: You know you can avoid Big Brother Google? I use DuckDuckGo. No spying.

Are you based in Germany and working only in Germany? Then I think you will be fine.
It possibly will be a problem to work in different EU countries after Brexit because FOM will not exist for British citizens anymore. So you will have to apply for a work visa for every single EU country where you want to work. I am not sure how EU countries will handle this issue. But as a current (meaning before Brexit) resident of a EU country you might get preferable treatment or not. Sorry nothing is certain at the moment.

I am living and working in Germany. I have been here 6.5 years. (Und ich kann auch ein Bisschen Deutsch sprechen. But not at a high level, certainly not B1.)
I have just been speaking to colleagues, including one non-EU one. He said an integration course is about 6 weeks. That to me is VERY do-able. I now need to check details using your link and Scot's later when I'm back home. I'll be doing a deep investigation on Saturday when I have plenty of time on my hands.
Thanks again.

If you have basic German the B1 course should be easy. You will find the multiple choice test about German history, politics on the internet. Not many questions. My husband who has no specific knowledge about Germany did the test in 5 mins and passed.
Nothing to worry about.

Auslaenderbehoerde is the office that deals with Foreigners. I just noticed my typo above.
https://service.berlin.de/standort/121885/en/
I am astonished on visits to Germany that English is now very widespread in public life. When I went there in 1968 as a student that was NOT the case.

When did Germany begin using region decals Hamburg, Berlin, Bayern etc on their license plates?
What would have been on the license plate in 1990? Was it the German Bundesfinanzverwaltung?
