German Banks for Savings Account

Hi All,

Is there a list of German banks where I could deposit some savings?

Not really looking for big return, but just a local high street bank would probably do.

Hi, as no one on the German forum is answering, and based on the fact that my two Anglo-French daughters live in Germany, I would have thought you'd have to be resident there in order to open a bank account.
(Are you now considering Germany as an "intermediate" country?)
