Default Frontalissuspension

My wife has just had this operation on her right eye. Two weeks after the operation her sight is blurred. Is this normal. Also, just after the operation we got some water in the eye. Could this be the problem and if so, can it be fixed?

Ophthalmology is unfortunately not in my Fachkompetenz (neurology), i can therefore not speak from my own clinical experience, but theoretically.
frontalis suspension should normally not lead to an impairment in the vision, as it is just an upper eyelid surgery. usually after the OP patients use artificial tears and sometimes antibiotic ointment to avoid keratitis, which is a possible complication after this type of surgery (and i think is the cause of her blurred vision).
i would therefore strongly advise you to go back to the surgeon who operated your wife as soon as possible! do not wait any longer

tomorrow /friday/ is a working day, please go to the clinic where the operation took place or if they can not see her on friday, go to the nearest hospital with a dept. in Ophtalmology and Notaufnahme.

Thank you for your prompt reply. We have been to see our eye specialist this morning whose job it is too monitor the situation. She has changed the drops to a liquid form rather than a gel. And so far, touch wood, has not made the blurred vision worse. She thinks that the cornea is rough. We go back on Tuesday.

you are very welcome
it's fantastic you visited your ophthalmologist today, it was obviously the cornea getting a bit too dry (exposure keratitis - if you google it, u can learn more about it), that caused the blurred vision. it will surely get better with the time, just follow the advice of the doctor and use the new drops as prescribed. gute Besserung
