lol

I live near Exeter and just came back from a most hazardous drive to Exmouth, the roads were awful and I had a nice little aquaplane just to keep my mind on the business of driving - truly awful. And parts of Somerset around Crewkerne are under water too.

If that helps!

And who says there is no such thing as global warming? Course there is. I was on the dcs website the other day - (group of scientists investigating climatic shift etc in Antarctica) and there is no doubt at all that we are experiencing climate shifts, which, they predict, are likely to worsen over the next few decades, maybe even shorter.

Course we are not exactly in a "Le Jour D'Apres" (film) situation yet - as one of the scientists said "The film the Day After Tomorrow is as much about climate change as Independence Day is about gay rights", but we'd all be a bit daft to ignore the evidence most of us are actually experiencing and seeing on the news almost every week now.

Methinks even more reason to move to south of France; well, for me, ANY reason is a good one I want to go back so much.

Andy

Well, the weather around here has been dreadful this last week.
The other night I was just settling into bed and the phone rang. I answered it replying, “ How the hell do I know? Who do you take me for, a weatherman?” And slammed the phone down.
My wife asked, “Who was that?”
“I’ve got no idea”, I said. “Some guy with a French accent wanting to know if the coast was clear.”
