Default Welsh Expats

Any Welsh (or English if you don't mind housing the "enemy") expats in the Bordeaux area with a room / annexe to rent for two weeks in June. Wife and I doing Euro 2016 (we are older people not rowdy football fans) or if any one wants to swop similar for our place in Portugal for holiday.

Hi, and welcome to the France forum!
You probably know already, but in case you don't, the matches will be played at the new Matmut-Atlantique Stadium, not the Chaban-Delmas one.

If you get a lot of response, this should help you decide on the best place to stay.
Good luck with your search!

Thanks for the reply DMU, we have booked a place in Cahors (fully refundable if we find something else) just to make sure we have somewhere to stay. Whilst I realise it is quite a way from Bordeaux we also play one game in Toulose. Our other game unfortunately is up in Lens!!. Who ever collects the toll money on the motorways will be making a fortune with some of the "geographical groupings"

Too complicated to see who's playing where, but when you say "we", do you mean Wales or Portugal? Just as a matter of interest, as I prefer Rugby myself and always support France!

You'll forgive the chiding, I hope. "Toulouse" is the city; "To lose" is the result against the English.

I don't mind a bit of banter js, I am sure we will be the whipping boys of the group just like Costa Rica were in England's group at the last World Cup.
