are we missing val :-)

Yes, we are missing Val on the forum.
Without her regular posts, helpful and acerbic by correct measure, we are but a shadow of the once flourishing french forum.

The words man - just the words. You're not supposed to be seeing an Italian porn star - or tv girl !

Me too, I even went out and purchased some beer. Would be nice if Val came back. Every time I think about her I conjure up images of Juliette Binoche in the English Patient. Well hot almost worth suffering complete third degree burns for. The Indian on the motor bike was a lucky Frastard.

Hey Lorna! Any snow in the fair Italy?

Cleri, that's the one sweets - and a nice eco-friendly brown paper bag as well.

Hope Val is ok - it's good to see JD on here with his pleb hat on - love his little "retired" bit under his name - he's "one of us" now, so we can chase his ass round the forum and lead him into bad habits which we couldn't do when he was a respectable moderator! ;)

I did write to Val the other day but I think she's on holiday. And yes, I miss her too!

yeah we have snow... again. I am geting sick of it now.

It snowed all day Sunday but it has rained since and is raining today as well so most of it has been washed away.

It's been a very rainy and snowy winter here this year. More than other years put together.

Re: are we missing val :-)

Lawks, I was joking! Snow in Italy? Let the scientists try denying climate change now. Mind you, I have no idea where Vincenza is, just sounds dead glamorous and therefore probably Sicily or somewhere equally hot and handsome.

Everytime someone mentions "snow" (especially us Brits) I have been waiting for some Canadian to jump on me with tales of 15 feet of it - bit like Old Whatsit in that Australian film, where that bloke pulls a knife on him and he whacks out a scythe and says:

"This is a knife" and blokey legs it ...........

Re: are we missing val :-)

Vicenza is in the North so pretty cold in winter but nice in summer.

I didn't realise you were joking because even though the mountains get snow every year we don't always get it at ground level. This year it has snowed at ground level at least 5 times.

Lots of snow about for those who like skiing but I don't.

Film : Crocodile Dundee - can't recall the name of the actor though. Paul something ?

While strictly on the subject of Val (whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting btw). You've got more snow in the UK and France at the moment than we have here in the 'frozen North'! Was out logging yesterday and the warning was out for snowfalls all yesterday, but then a slight thaw has hit us today and it's just foggy and black ice - nasty out on the roads!
Take care everyone

Oh yes? So why the spoon and pockets full of soil eh? The tell-tale missing legs from the chairs? The suspicious singing of "Cor blimey Mum, I miss your puddings" when the guards come round? You can't fool me Ewood 666. You are the Devil. You have lifted her skirts already.

It wasn't me, I was somewhere else at whatever time it may or may not have happened. In any case it was somebody else. I have no arms, so cannot lift skirts. I come from a broken home, I was under privileged as a child, my school milk was always warm.

You bunch of Old Buggers you!:rofl:

Ewood, you snowed up m8? saw some glorious pics of Gloucestershire with folk all out playing in the snow. You been skiing to work or what?

Tres, volunteers or not, you would be top of the list as a skirt-lifter. (yikes, the k is awfully near the h, I nearly missed it!:rofl::rofl: Could have caused an International Incident there between Sheffield and Devon ...........)

Ka Ora, we had a tornado off Cornwall the other day, that will have to do for now. Oi, wait a minute, I just got that - you mean a hurricane will be caused by my skirts being lifted? Cheeky beggar, got a feeling you're calling me fat!:( Oh well, been called worse!:D

CB honey, where ya been? Had a horrid feeling you might be cryogenically challenged in some crevasse, white van and all, like something off Vertical Limit ............

I'm knackered tonight, as the flippin car battery went flat - haven't driven it for a week now, and it just died. Nearly killed meself with jump leads, and can't tell red from black in the dark so decided it was safer to push it and bump it, but I kept slipping on the ice. Hm, yeah right, ended in the hedge.

Happy Thursday to all.

There's something about your situations, Andy, that remind me of Frank Spencer/Michael Crawford
