Volcanic ash from Iceland
Just heard on France Inter (and it has already been picked up on the Spain forum), that all airports are closed in the UK and Scandinavia due to this enormous cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland. No one can estimate how long it will take to disperse.
So, if you were planning to fly to, from or via the affected countries in the near future, check with your airport and/or company....

We were lucky enough to fly out of Iceland on Sunday - but boy, the volcano was spectacular close up!

we flew into the uk on wed just before all the closures
hope it will be up and running again by the time we fly back!
