Batten down the hatches, there's another violent bout of weather on it's way!

35 departments in the west of France have been placed on Orange Alert by Meteo-France from 6pm today (Monday), until around midday Tues.

Departments expected to be affected are Basse-Normandie, la Bretagne, le Centre, la Haute-Normandie, l'Ile-de-France, les Pays de Loire, le Poitou-Charentes, la Gironde (33), les Landes (40) et l'Oise (60).

We have had 20 Cms since 9.30 this morning, It's caught everyone on the hop no grit on the roads. Fun Fun

Happily, Our power has been off since I last posted it's just come on again Just remains to been seen how long it will stay on for. It still snowing no apparent let up and it was not forecast until the weekend.
