selling a tractor mower outside my door
Hello can anyone tell me if there are any rules/regs I need to know before I try to sell my tractor mower outside my door.

The law states you need to sell tractor mowers on the fifth saturday in April on every other leap year assuming there is a half moon and you need to get a permit 8 months in advance from the 3 furthest Préfecture.

Not sure whether CS is right, but in any case, don't actually leave your tractor mower outside your door with an "à vendre" sign. Even if your neighbours are trustworthy, anyone else could break in and steal it for nothing....

Dont promise it to anyone without them turning up and paying in full and personally cash only. It is surprising how many folk turn around and say please hold it till payday. Leboncoin is pretty good when selling stuff but be firm and polite.
Personally I wouldn't stick a for sale sign up for something like that outside my house for the obvious reasons. If you can wait till it gets a tad warmer it is when folk start shopping for things like that.
