IE. Getting habitation licence.
Water and elec connections.
Sewage connection.

And any other trauma's you can think of

IE. Getting habitation licence.
You hould not buy a derilict property without a CU "Certificate d'Urbanisme" in place, or at least make it part of your purchase agreement.
Water and elec connections.
Watre and electric connections are easy to arrange, but obviously at a price and it can get expensive if you are a long way from their nearest connection.
Sewage connection.
In town, no problem, in the sticks everyone has fosse septic arrangements.
Make sure your property has eough land to support a fosse and drainage system.
Inheritance tax, is it like Spain's ?
Don't know about Spain, but you cannot disinherit your children in your will.
And any other trauma's you can think of
Errm no sun!
