Re: oiseaux
One of the reasons I've been a bit tardy just now was that The Boss & I were watching this Hen Harrier through the bino's. It came within 100 yards of the house, so, I rattled off a couple of shots and then processed them. What a fantastic bird this is. We do get a few of them here and they're stunning to watch when they hunt. The male catches the prey while the female flies underneath him. He then drops the prey in mid-air, she catches it & off to the nest she goes! Amazing to watch!
Anyway, my 200mm lens is a bit short for this kind of stuff, so apologies for the quality. I'm trying to convince The Boss that €299 for a 300mm lens is an investment....

Re: oiseaux
I'm down in the Aude and with the cold weather in the north I've seen a flock of lapwings for the first time today, presumably driven south?
Also the last two days I've seen Cattle Egrets feeding on the edges of the fields - I think they are coming up from the coastal areas further inland to us.
