No Claims Bonus on returning to the UK from France
Hi All,
My wife and I have just returned to the UK after 12 years in France. We're insuring a car here and have been asked to provide evidence of our no claims status in France. I have sent two requests to my French insurer but these have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. Could anyone suggest the proper term I should be using in my request as I suspect that my literal (google) translation of uk insurance terms may not be adequately communicating my needs.
Also, any recommendations for UK insurance companies that look kindly on a French insurance history? I've seen recommendations for NFU Mutual and Aviva so far but I'd be interested in hearing another recommendations you may have.
Thanks in advance.

Morning
I think the correct term is « relevé d’information d’assurance auto ».
Please report back on how you get on. It might be worth posting on the Moving Back to the UK board.
