A quickie query I hope. Considering spending three months back in UK next year and wondering if we can discuss with our Mutuelle reducing our monthly payment while we are there.

You can certainly ask them, but you can bet your life they'll say no.
If they do agree to reduce payment for 3 months, I'll give up turkey for Christmas!
