This is a frequent issue in the caribbean, when us and uk websites wont send there. Simple solution - there are companies in every country who for a small fee will maintain a PO box for you in the originating country, collect and redirect your parcels. Clearly you have to pay for postage, duty etc, but you sort of would anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion - I looked at the Boden.fr site and found some trousers that might suit, at double M&S prices, but no lingerie. So I'll stick with M&S which I know from experience will fit...
@novo - all French ladies seem to have extremely long legs, and trousers are cut for them (and I hate putting up hems), whereas M&S have 3 lengths to choose from.

I don't have problems taking up hems and, anyway there is a dressmaker in the next hameau. It's the general proportions that are wrong. EG French women seem to have very narrow shoulders

Unfortunately the nearest dressmaker to us is 5 km away, so it's DIY for me, which I try to avoid!
@cad - I've been here longer! You obviously don't buy from catalogues which I'm forced to do, living in a rural area....

Not in the small town I live in. Most of the women here I refer to as Obelix, due to their resemblance to the companion of Asterisk.

We clealry live in a more refined location but even the farmers wives are small with tiny hands anf feet - tough as old boots but quite dainty when scrubbed up.
The only hefty lady round here is Danish. she is known as the viking.

If it of any interest Ihave just received a delivery from M&S France. They have completely revamped their website and changed their courier. It arrived within 2 days, at no charge for delivery, and I am very pleased with everything.
PS I don't work for M&S or get comission!
