Im more curious about the OP'd quoted charity as it's a zero hitter in Google with the exception of this thread.
Although it couldn't hurt to have a list of the ones that are here in France

CSF website has lots of info and the group, with regional sub-groups, offer support to English language residents in France, mostly UK ex-pats. Take a look at the website that Im and Er posted. The groups are always seeking people to train as 'active listeners' to support and work with those diagnosed with cancer.

I have personal connections with CSF so have the utmost respect and admiration for the volunteers who selflessly give up both their time and expertise to help those in their time of need. Their numbers are more than most realise or care to think about.

Sometime just a friendly sympathetic voice can make all the difference.
