Things are starting to move forward...we are finally getting to come over this month for a 'tour' of the Charente / Vienne area, and look at some properties! We're staying near Sérigny....so are any of you near there? what tips can you give of that area if you are there?

Sorry for my being amiss on here....My dad had a major heart attack a while ago, then my brother had a suspected on, Hubbys Aunt died of cancer and now my brother in law has terminal cancer....not been a good couple of years....So I haven't forgotten you all...Honest

Sorry Kim, only just spotted your post. There are a few of us in the Charente, but we ourselves are quite a way South of you. Been hiding out from the rain though!
There seems to be quite a lot of ill health around at the moment. Hope things work through for you. Best of luck
