Cool

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any language exchanges in Paris. Recently touched down here and am keen to learn French, just need to get talking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Thanx,
When I first came to Paris, I joined l'Alliance Française. It's also a good way of meeting people (albeit foreigners!).

There's a cool event called Franglish in Paris, it is a language exchange event, and it is based on the organization of speeddating (but it is not !) , only 1-to-1 conversations, you speak 7 min in French, 7 in ENglish with some random French speaker and then swtich table to met someone else . Great ambiance and in general people stay at the end to have a drink or dinner ...

I believe one or more of the town halls in Paris runs language courses for expats at an extremely reasonable rate... Maybe somebody has more details?

Knowing my luck, if I turned up at a Franglish language exchange event, my conversational partners would all look like THIS.........
Still, that would be a pleasant surprise compared to Mam-In -Law!

Bonjour.

A bientôt !!!

In english :

I am Maël Valais, student of 21 in the south of France. Unfortunatly I'm not in Paris. However I live in the countryside, in a very nice place. I live also in Toulouse.

I'm looking for people for a language exchange ; my main goal being to improve my english. I was recently looking for a US exchange but I abandoned. Thus I plan to find an possibility for an exchange between France and the UK. It would begin the 06/25/2011 and end last up to 3 months later.

See you sooon

Maël

Sympa, your post, but the language of the BE forum is English (although we all understand you!)
Bon courage with your search!
