Well, we have finally made the decision and signed the Compromis de Vente on a traditional French stone house in a small hamlet on the Vienne/Charente border (close to Chatain/Charroux). Hopefully, we wil be in permanent residence by the end of March-early April 2010 and I was wondering if there were any other expats in or around this area?
