http://youtube.com/watch?v=iMUFhfp46zc
Ticket booked and should be on my way next week.
I am so excited but scared to go outside the front door here incase something else happens Doesn't help it snowed again this morning but eldest child tells me it's nice and warm back in Normandy. Can't wait to get there, you'll hear the shouts from CDG as the flight lands OH has also managed to set up a month or so of meetings so we'll be travelling together.
Hapiness is ...........

Re: I'm going Home
Hey Val, i think i went along your road over the weeknd. There was a huge delivery wagon unloading shingle (mess over the road i can tell you), but there was a young lady with a large spade throwing it over a large grass area. When questioned she did say i want to make things easy for mum when she gets back. I didnt like to ask anymore. Make sure you dont have sandles on when you return, those little stones kill when they get between your toes.

So glad you are finally on your way back Val, take care!
I am very envious, we still have not made it back to Normandy, and I just can't wait to be there. After spending a great few months in USA, we came straight back to UK to be with our daughter, as she was to have had an operation on her wrist yesterday. (She broke it badly a year ago and needs pins).
After the big psyche up for it, renting a flat near to her for 10 days, arriving at hospital at 7am, waiting for 6 hours, felt tip marks drawn on her arm ready for op, consent forms signed...we were told "so sorry, we can't do the op today now after all, there has been a delay with our lists, we will contact you again in 3-6 weeks with a new date!!!! "
After much fuss and re-explanations of circumstances, they have now agreed to fit her onto the list on Friday afternoon. What a nightmare!
Anyway, we are longing to be home, with all this behind us. Normandy is so beautiful at this time of year. Bon Voyage!
