I am not trying to fill this forum area but I am trying to keep my questions separate.
We are a family who live in a quiet Welsh village, 2 boys (8 and 6) and a small dog.
We want to send the kids to Paul Bert in Colomiers but have read that for a rental 'house' you are best to head a bit further out of Toulouse.
So we want a house with 4 bedrooms, garden, maybe a pool and some home comforts.
Can anyone sugest a good area and maybe know of any houses for rent.
I know it is a lot to ask but if you don't ask you don't get.

Hope you found help now.. houses are a lot cheaper further west; leguevin, and isle jourdain are much cheaper ..

Nothing yet, I now have a French pre-pay telephone to save UK charges, so I will be seriously looking this weekend. I was hoping that someone would have the inside information on a house that may be available soon.

ask on the facebook toulouse site: there are relocation people there who can help you If not try

leboncoin.fr and enter places like leguevin, tournefeuille, st lys, l'isle jourdain, colomiers, pibrac, brax etc etc

We are in exactly the same position, looking for the same type of house but with a 2 year old instead. We're moving from Cardiff to somewhere near Toulouse/Colomiers in July time. Did you have any luck finding a nice property? Would love to know your thoughts on moving and what sites you found useful etc.

you can also try leboncoin.fr which is similar to rightmove

leboncoin.fr is not really like Rightmove imho it is closer to Craigslist really as it is filled to the brim with tat, I have heard of a few scams occur on it and it's a case of buyer / seller be aware. Rightmove data is compiled from estate agents so the information is a lot more accurate'ish.
