Doctors and allocation
Hey all
Moved to Toulouse not long ago, we are looking for a généraliste doctor to become our médecin traitant, we live near avenue de lombez, does anyone know of a good one who speaks some English for my wife?
Also my wife just getting back to work after suffering from some mental health problem is only doing 5 hours a week workat the moment, might be doubled soon but just that for now, is there any allocations we could apply for to help complete her I come a bit?
Thanks in advance for all the help

Can't help with the doctor I'm afraid.
Regarding benefits, everything to do with income is done on a household basis in France. Tax is payable on household revenue, and benefits are also calculated on household income. So if you are also on a low income, it's possible you might be able to apply for some kind of support from CAF (eg housing benefit). You can apply to CAF after you've been living and working in France for at least 3 months, there is a simulator on the CAF website where you can input all your details and it will tell you what benefits you could be eligible for as a household. Hope this helps.

Given the OP's proximity to Blagnac and surrounding communes finding a English speaking doctor should not be hard........
As far as "Benefits" go if your working then it's RSA "Revenu de solidarité active" that you would get if you are low income.
But it would be quicker to have three children than to get RSA

Out of interest, does anyone know how benefits work for households where one spouse is an EU citizen and one isn't?
I don't think non EU citizens get benefits, do they. I'm expecting my potential eligibility for the prime pour l'emploi to end with Brexit.
Thinking about it, might that not be what the OP is eligible for?
