Default Disable Facilities

Hubby & I are seriously thinking of moving to the Southern Brittany area in mid '09 when I retire. However Im led to believe that facilities ie. disabled toilets kerbs etc are not great. I had a stroke in '06 and walking with a stick although I need a wheelchair for large hypermarkets. Can anyone advise?

Don't know about southern Brittany I'm afraid, but where we are there are lots of disabled parking places in car parks, toilets in our local E LeClerc, Auchan etc. Sure it's the same in most places. Good luck with the move
