Hi, for clarity, the 1st January 2022 refers to the actual holding of a Titre de Séjour "accord de retrait du Royaume Uni de l'UE" for those residing in France before 31st December 2020.
The site for applying for it on-line will "definitely" close on 4th October 2021, i.e. next Monday. The Préfecture should be contacted if one of the reasons for missing the deadline is included in the list given.
For those having settled in France after 1st January 2021, you must apply to the Préfecture for a "Titre de Séjour pour ressortissants non-européens" Does this mean that such expats (with Visas) must apply for a Titre de Séjour once here? Just to clarify for newcomers....
