Re: Coronavirus - France movement restrictions
The government website is indeed overloaded so I have typed out a copy of the form and printed some off. I'd be happy to put it on here for others to download while waiting for the website to free up (could be along wait), but I suspect the forum doesn't allow such things. Tweedpipe's link includes a download of the form, but you have to sign in with facebook, which I don't have, and I am wary of such sites demanding access to mt data. You can always write it out.
Stay safe everyone.

I downloaded the form without problem.
If anyone needs a copy, I can attach it (I hope) to an email for them.

Knowing my luck I'd probably be jumped upon by a gendarme pretending to be a poacher disguised as Worzel Gummidge with a black beret.

Re: Coronavirus - France movement restrictions
I have just joined the forum....hoping someone might have some advice! We are British citizens but French residents. We are currently in the Canary Islands due to ferry/drive back to France later this week. The Attestation for movement makes no mention of 'driving home' being a valid reason for being out and M Macron has said that 'French people' can travel home. I can't get a response from the French Consulate here (but I'm not French of course!).
What do you think.....I would hope that common sense would prevail at the border but you know how these things pan out sometimes!

which says that people can return "home" from a trip away from their domicile/residence. But I'd be inclined to fill in the form anyway.....

I don't use or have a Facebook account, nor use any other social media services. In fact I keep my computer - a Mac - ultra secure, and whenever a site asks for a log-in to proceed further, I click on the 'not now' link. Similarly if a site requests acceptance of its cookies to provide personalised content, analyze traffic etc (as many do) I always click on the 'more information' link and then opt out of accepting those unwanted cookies and whatever other junk they propose. Never use any anti-virus or anti-malware software, and never had a problem. And as a browser extension I swear by uBlock origin - a very efficient blocker, easy on cpu and memory.

Believe me Hypothermia isn't such a bad way to go, so I'm told. The worst part is getting very cold but after that, apparently, it's a nice slide into oblivion!!! I shan't be testing the theory though as I find that once very cold the body does try and make amends and it is quite painful as the blood circulates; some nice colours too; all mottled, blue, pink and red; very jolli !!!!!

Just got back from a 2 hour ride. Not a gendarme to be seen anywhere. That includes the Frontier with Spain which I pass en route!!! In any event it's a circular rout and I doubt I'm more than a few miles , in a direct line, from home. No problems; the gendarmes around here are probably more pleasant than the ones where you are!!!

To save printing out the same Attestation whenever you have to go out, and help save the planet, the French radio announced that you can write the date and tick the box in pencil, and erase where necessary for the next outing. To avoid contamination, the gendarmes usually don't touch your paper or ID. And a "copy" of the Attestation on your phone isn't valid....
