Hey, thanks everyone. Between going backwards, forwards to the hospital and working I've had zero time. Arthus was born on the 6th August, and everything went exceptionally well... I did wonder if I'd take to being a Dad as having children was the highest thing on my agenda, but it doesn't take long to realise what a great thing it is, even with sleep deprivation.
Don't worry, I still have my objectivity and know other people's baby's are quite boring to everyone but the parents, so you won't find me whittling on about him for weeks on end. Anyhow, for now, here's a couple of photos - the first one half an hour after birth, and the other taken yesterday at 2 days old. He's quite long and wasn't as wrinkly as I was expecting; he has the long skinny fingers and legs of his old man.

Oops, just noticed my grammar mistake - was is supposed to be wasn't.
Thanks Cleri and Ka Ora! Well the Mrs wants two; I'm on the fence (which probably means I won't win), but if we have two, there's such a good financial incentive for three... Problem is I'm not fence sitting at 3 as 2 would be more than enough for me!
