Just a quicky!

We received the 'prime a la naissance' just before the birth of our baby in December. Do you receive any extra payments like this after the birth? Some websites suggest you do(two more payments) but after talking to some French people, I'm not so sure?

Hi, you may be entitled to the "paje" depending on your income/ressources.

At the moment we receive two payments;

Allocation de base - Paje (Had this since June last year)
Allocations familiales (new payment from this month)

Is this about right?

Normally you only get "allocations familiales" after the second child. Every one gets them, they aren't income-dependent. Your income must be below the threshold in order to benefit as from the first child.
Theirs' is not to ask the reason why, enjoy them while they last!
